1 – 1 ½ lb Skirt Steak or whichever protein you prefer
4 Tbsp Anne’s Toum Original
1 Tbsp Cumin
1 Tbsp Oregano
1 Tbsp Chili Powder
1 Tbsp Chipotle Chili Powder
Juice of 1 lime
Pinch of Salt and Pepper
Directions
- Combine marinade ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly.
- Place the steak in a large Ziploc bag and pour marinade over the steak. Make sure the steak is fully coated with the marinade.
- Marinate the steak in the refrigerator between 4-24 hours.
- When you’re ready, heat your grill to 425-450 degrees. Grill steak for 3-5 minutes on each side.
- Allow the steak to rest for 5 minutes before cutting against the grain. We either chop it up into bite sized pieces or leave it in slices depending on how we plan to use it.
- Add whatever taco add-ons you like! We like guacamole (with Lemon Sumac Toum, of course), homemade salsa, a little squeeze of lime, and onions and cilantro!
