Ingredients

  • 1 – 1 ½ lb Skirt Steak or whichever protein you prefer

  • 4 Tbsp Anne’s Toum Original

  • 1 Tbsp Cumin

  • 1 Tbsp Oregano

  • 1 Tbsp Chili Powder

  • 1 Tbsp Chipotle Chili Powder

  • Juice of 1 lime

  • Pinch of Salt and Pepper

Directions

  • Combine marinade ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly.
  • Place the steak in a large Ziploc bag and pour marinade over the steak. Make sure the steak is fully coated with the marinade.
  • Marinate the steak in the refrigerator between 4-24 hours.
  • When you’re ready, heat your grill to 425-450 degrees. Grill steak for 3-5 minutes on each side.
  • Allow the steak to rest for 5 minutes before cutting against the grain. We either chop it up into bite sized pieces or leave it in slices depending on how we plan to use it.
  • Add whatever taco add-ons you like! We like guacamole (with Lemon Sumac Toum, of course), homemade salsa, a little squeeze of lime, and onions and cilantro!
